1. General

Knoller Yashinovsky Keinan & Co. Law Offices (the "Firm", "we", "us") respects the privacy of users of our website. This policy explains what user data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and what rights you have in respect of it. The policy covers this website only and does not apply to attorney-client relationships, which are governed by separate engagement letters and by the attorney-client privilege.

2. Legal Basis

This policy is drafted in accordance with:

• Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 and its subordinate regulations, including the Privacy Protection Regulations (Data Security), 5777-2017.
• The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — for EU-resident users.

3. Data We Collect

On this site, we collect the following categories of data:

• Contact details — name and email address, when you choose to subscribe to the Firm's newsletter.
• Technical browsing data — IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, session timing. This data is collected in a substantially anonymous manner for site-health monitoring and defence against malicious access.
• Cookies — a language-preference cookie (ekynew_lang) and the technical session cookies that WordPress uses to operate the site.

The Firm does not collect sensitive data on this website (such as ethnic origin, health, medical condition, political opinions, or religious beliefs), and the site does not include contact forms designed to collect such data.

4. Purposes of Use

• Sending professional legal newsletters — only after obtaining explicit consent at sign-up.
• Improving the user experience and diagnosing site faults.
• Meeting information-security requirements, including detecting anomalous access or cyber attacks.
• Complying with the Firm's legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent user personal information to third parties. Transfers occur only in the following circumstances:

Newsletter signup data is kept for as long as the user wishes to remain subscribed. Users may unsubscribe at any time via the link at the foot of every mailing, in which case the data will be removed from the mailing system within a reasonable timeframe. Technical logs are kept for a limited period required for security and legal-compliance purposes and are deleted thereafter.

Under the Protection of Privacy Law and its regulations, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — to request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Right of rectification — to require correction of inaccurate or outdated data.
• Right of erasure — to request removal of the data from the Firm's systems, subject to overriding legal obligations.
• Right to withdraw consent — to cancel newsletter consent at any time.
• For EU residents — additional rights under GDPR, including portability and the right to object.

Rights are exercised by contacting the Firm's privacy officer as described below. The Firm will respond within 30 days, in accordance with applicable law.

The Firm takes reasonable technical and organisational security measures to protect the data, including transport encryption (TLS), server-level security headers (HSTS, CSP, X-Content-Type-Options), access controls, and security-event monitoring. No system, however, is entirely immune to risk; the Firm commits to acting professionally to minimise exposure.
