Planning & Construction
Planning and construction law in Israel is characterized by significant structural complexity, requiring a deep and fundamental understanding of the relevant governmental institutions and all the actors involved.
Our firm has extensive experience in the field of planning and construction, including unique experience in accompanying developers, kibbutzim, moshavim, rural communities, and local authorities in complex planning and construction proceedings, both as developers and as objectors. In addition, we represent various communities and private parties in claims for compensation for diminution in value resulting from plan approval, claims for expropriation compensation, proceedings to reduce betterment levies, and more.
Proven Experience in Accompanying Complex Planning and Construction Processes
Our firm specializes in advancing various plans from the planning stage through to approval, including representation before steering committees, representation in objections and appeals before planning committees, and in legal proceedings related thereto (administrative petitions, Supreme Court petitions, representation before various appeal committees, and more). We have deep familiarity with the applicable law and the considerations of the authorities — we represent the largest local planning and building committees in Israel as external legal counsel. Alongside this, we have extensive experience accompanying developers and cooperative societies before planning institutions, the Israel Land Authority, the Ministry of Agriculture, and additional regulatory bodies. All of this enables us to deeply understand the authorities' considerations and fully realize our clients' rights.
