אורי מנהל את תחום האיגוד השיתופי במשרד ושימש בעברו כרשם האגודות השיתופיות במשך למעלה מ- 25 שנים. אורי הינו בר סמכא בתחום האגודות השיתופיות ושותף מרכזי לעיצוב וגיבוש תחום האגודות השיתופיות במדינת ישראל. אורי עוסק בדיני תאגידים ובמיוחד בדיני אגודות שיתופיות, לרבות רישום אגודות שיתופיות חדשות, טיפול בתיקון תקנוני אגודות, סיווג אגודות, מיזוג, השקעות באגודה שיתופית, קבלת שותפים או משקיעים באגודה, ביצוע חקירות ובדיקות באגודות לרבות ליווי אגודות, אשר הרשם החליט לערוך בהם חקירה או בדיקה. אורי מלווה פירוק אגודות שיתופיות ומתמחה ביעוץ לאגודה ולחבריה, בעת שמונה לה מפרק. בנוסף אורי מתמחה בהפיכת אגודה לחברה, חלוקת דיווידנדים, טיפול בסוגיות הנובעות מחברות באגודה לרבות בן ממשיך, טיפול בפדיון מניות באגודה, טיפול ויעוץ לרשויות האגודה ועד הנהלה, מזכירות, ועדת ביקורת, אסיפת מורשים, מועצה ואסיפה כללית. בנוסף, אורי עוסק ביעוץ בסוגיות משפטיות מורכבות בקשר עם הרחבות, קיבוץ, מושב שיתופי, מושב עובדים, כפר שיתופי, ישוב קהילתי וסוגי אגודות נוספות. אורי מוביל את מחלקת הגישורים והבוררויות במשרד, ובתוך כך משמש כבורר על פי מינוי בתי משפט, צדדים, וכן המוסד לבוררויות וגישורים של התנועה הקיבוצית ומוסד הבוררות של תנועת המושבים. אורי מרצה ומארגן סמינרים לשיפור ההבנה של הניהול, הפיתוח, המבנה הפיננסי, התקצוב, החקיקה והרישום של קואופרטיבים בישראל.Uri heads the firm's cooperative societies practice and previously served for more than 25 years as the Registrar of Cooperative Societies. He is a leading authority on cooperative law and a central figure in shaping this field in Israel. Uri practices corporate law with a particular focus on cooperative societies — including registration of new cooperatives, bylaw amendments, classification, mergers, investments, admission of partners and investors, investigations and examinations of associations (including representing associations under investigation ordered by the Registrar). He accompanies the liquidation of cooperative societies and specializes in advising associations and their members during liquidation proceedings. He also specializes in converting associations into companies, dividend distributions, membership issues (including the "continuing son" doctrine), share redemptions, and advising the bodies of the association — the management board, the secretariat, audit committees, authorized assemblies, councils and general assemblies. Uri advises on complex legal issues relating to neighborhood expansions, kibbutzim, cooperative moshavim, workers' moshavim, cooperative villages, community settlements and other forms of association. He leads the firm's mediation and arbitration practice and serves as an arbitrator appointed by courts, parties, the Kibbutz Movement's Institute for Arbitration and Mediation, and the Moshavim Movement's Arbitration Institute. He also lectures and organizes seminars to advance understanding of the management, development, financial structure, budgeting, legislation and registration of cooperatives in Israel.
